Thabong Primary School

Thabong Primary School is a government school located at Vleischboom Village under Nebo Circuit in Limpopo Province. The school serves learners from mainly disadvantaged households that depend on social grants, informal self-employment such as vending, and low-income working-class jobs. The school faces significant challenges related to teaching and learning resources. In most classrooms, textbooks and whiteboards are the only available instructional materials. The school has a limited number of laptops, which are mainly used by the administration and School Management Team, while educators and learners have no access to digital learning tools. There are no interactive boards, projectors, or other educational gadgets to support modern teaching methods. In addition, the school environment is not conducive to effective teaching and learning due to overcrowded classrooms. This overcrowding negatively affects learner support, classroom management, and overall academic performance. These challenges limit the school’s ability to provide quality education and to meet the diverse learning needs of its learners.
